Just look back a few years at one of our winter trips to the smokies and you will quickly realize that being "photogenic" isn't quie our strong suite. Heck, you really don't even have to go back that far, but it is a good place to start.

Nice black and white photo art there Hawgdaddy!

BTW, you may be wondering why most of my Glacier shots don't contain any fly fishing. The reason is simple: while I may be more than willing to get up before sunrise and skip a leisurely supper in pursuit of the next great fly fishing photo, my potential models have not been so excited about the prospect. While I did take several shots of them in the middle of the day, the light was fairly harsh. Another obstacle: out of our little group of fly fishers, I'm definitely THE fly fisher. Everyone else is usually just along for the ride. I'm the devotee. So, there has been a distinct lack of someone to photograph, and using my remote trigger to photo myself is not ideal. Maybe on our next trip, I'll come up with a good bribe to get Jacqulyn our of bed for some good sunrise shots. She's a much better photographic subject than myself or Insane anyway.
