Reed Curry over at The Contemplative Angler posted an essay which ranks among my favorites. It’s a short little thing, but I love it. It had been hidden away in Mr. Curry’s articles section on his main website, but he posted it for all to see on his blog. Makes me feel like I’m there. Check it out.
I’ll have an essay of my own posted later this week. I’ve got two in the works, and I’ve not decided which to post yet. I’ll be seeking advice from fellow TVangler contributors on which to use.
Well, my New Year’s weekend trip to the Smokies has been cancelled for reasons beyond my control (it was to be a large family/friend gathering) : ( Determined to rebel against fate, I have decided to try to make the trip the following weekend. If you’re in the area, feel free to stop by. I’ll be the guy thawing out frozen waders and heating a pot of coffee at Cades Cove campground. That’s the plan anyway. I’m sure something will come up to get in my way.
